The RESULTS Project seeks to strengthen the future orientation and development of European universities through an examination of the potential for

enabling senior academics to gain a better understanding of, and involvement in, the development and use of eLearning across the European university sector
unifying the processes of research and teaching to support the use of ICT in learning, teaching and research within universities and their regions
focussing research activity upon the future role and positioning of universities within their respective Learning Regions thereby, facilitating economic clustering processes and the delivery of enhanced economic results.

Utilising a blended learning strategy, local face-to-face tutorials supported by international on-line seminars, the Project will encourage a broader understanding of regional complexities and developments within higher education.
